Beginning the week of November 4, managers and associates from Philadelphia-area ShopRites and The Fresh Grocers delivered more than 25,800 signatures to state lawmakers in their Philadelphia legislative offices. The petitions were signed by supermarket customers who oppose the Philadelphia beverage tax.
